Ive been driving a 93 nissan pathfinder that my parents owned for about 2 months untill i bought the pickup. They both have manual transmissions although the clutch in the pickup is completely different, I have to release the clutch very slowly or i stall or sometimes it shakes violently, and its very difficult to drive even for my parents. My uncle who is a mechanic says his nissan pickup is like that also and its normal but it may be able to be adjusted. Ive never heard of adjusting a clutch before can it really be done and is it difficult/expensive?

Hydraulic clutches are self adjusting. If you have a clutch problem, you are going to have to have the friction disc changed. If it slips really bad it could eventually wear through the friction disc and get into the rivets that hold it together, and that will score the pressure plate. That will require a total clutch replacement. Getting to it soon will save you some cash.
