A 2.3 cm thick bar of soap is floating on a water surface so that 1.6 cm of the bar is underwater. Bath oil of specific gravity 0.40 is poured into the water and floats on top of it. 1.6*1 = 2.3*s.g.
s.g. = 0.69565,
(2.3 - h) + 0.4h = 2.3*0.69565 = 1.6
-0.6h = 1.6 - 2.3
h = 1.16667 cm ≈ 1.2 cm
