I may be just getting the case of the stupid, but I can not figure out what exactly this statement means.. please just use normal words to get me the correct answer.. I have had a long day and I am reading with one eye asleep
the statement is as fallows

18 years of age or older before applying for a license and must not have a conviction for:
A. A crime that has a direct bearing on the individual's ability to practice competently
B. A crime that has the propensity to endangers the public

I was appling for a my Real Estate Classes, and this 2 questions got me.. Thanks all for forgiving my stupidness today..

Oh yeah forgot to add, me the good one on YA, I have been in trouble and I have a OWI on record.. yeah I know throw your stones now.. But it changed my life..

Heather.. if you're worried about your OWI preventing you from applying for your license.. don't. You've never been "CONVICTED" of a crime that prevents you from this kind of work.. and you didn't endanger anyone. Just stay out of trouble ;) I'm going to try and do the same..

Well the first is self explanatory, 18 or older.
A) This type of crime would be like theft, larceny, graft or anything that would prohibit your from carrying out you job responsibilities. If you were getting a job as a receptionist and handled nothing but phone calls a theft wouldn't come into play but it you handle any kind of securities (yes, this could be an insurance agent) then it would; understand?
B)Violent crime

A. A person must not have been found guilty of a crime that could prevent him from working properly.

B. A person has not committed a crime that is a hazard to the public.

I believe it is speaking about fraud and theft, but the crime committed can't be one that makes it impossible to do the job the license is for or was detrimental to the public.
