Increase the tire pressure to about 2lbs below the max pressure, accelerate a little easier, and let off the gas and coast up to the stop lights and red lights. Slow down to the speed limit on the highway, I assume the car is in top running shape. It wouldn't hurt to go with a synthetic oil to ease internal friction. good luck

Add air pressure to the tires. Don't over inflate you might have a blow out.

Have it tuned up, check your tire pressure, accelerate slower and drive slower. Those are the easiest ways.
