I am 27 and some people consider me an adult. I have 3 Kids 8,7,4. I teach them to be an individual. Dress how they want with in reason. I still keep with the times unlike my parents. I do agree that a 12 year old should dress like a 12 year old not like that W.H.O.R.E. Paris Hilton.

Because many little girls are dressing with stomachs showing, trying to show cleavage, mini skirts- things that were considered disgusting and inapparopriate just a few years ago. Now mind you I am only in my early twenties- its not like I was a kid that long ago but compared to how these young girls are dressing these days my friends and I would look like nuns. It is cheapnening these young girls when they dress like this- kids are being allowed to grow up too fast wanting designer brands and peircings in middle school- it is aboslutley ludicrous. People are not teaching their kids the value of money and are not teaching them that you need to be mature in order to dress maturely, these girls dressing like this is only giving more to the pedophiles and disgusting men out there who hit on young girls. Just like a young person doesn't want to see an old woman walking around in booty shorts it is just as inappropriate for a little girl to be wearing them.

It's a nasty cycle we go through. We dress up in ways that piss off our parents. When we're parents, our kids do the same and we realize how old we are and buy into real estate deals for retirement condos. Builders have to build the retirement condos, suppliers have to supply the builders, manufacturers have to supply to suppliers, business people have to run all the companies and somewhere down the line, a buck is made here and there. It keeps the economy going.

Because kids nowadays where stuff that is way to inappropriate for their age. Kids just need to stop trying to dress older and look older.

I think the clothes you guys have a fun and cute but some items are just too revealing and tight and sends a different message than I think you want to send.
I think guys would really like to use their imagination rather than you show everything. A little mystery goes a long way.
Be your own person and don't follow the fads if they don't fit your personality and who you are as a person.

Because they realize that no matter what kids do, they still keep on dressing the same exact way and they won't change the way they look just because they want to "fit in".

Because I like to have something left to my imagination.
Because a lot of people who show too much skin often have too much flab as well. (Being young doesn't automatically mean you're slim or fit.)
Because if your skirt's that short, the world's your gynecologist (thank you, Jennifer Saunders of AbFab!).
Because many butt cracks just aren't that attractive.
Because super baggy, low riders on most guys look like they've "got a load" in their pants.
Because if you don't want to be called a "ho", don't dress like one.

From the beginning of time parents have never approved of the young people's styles...even in my day -- my Mother and I argued a lot over clothes....

The way i see it there are four reasons:
1. they're too traditional
2. they don't understand so they disapprove
3. the trend actually originated during one of there decades and they think its funny we're getting into it while we look back at them and criticize them about it or
4. the dress involves so little clothing its ridiculous and whoreish
