I got way better grades than him.

shouldnt there be a I.Q. requirement to become the President? Some sort of series of tests that one has to go through because it is the most demanding job in the country! If you have to take tests to become a 911 dispatcher than there must be tests to become president. Just makes sense ya know?

He had a C average while getting an MBA from Harvard Business School. It's not like he had a C average while he was in the undergraduate X-Ray Technician program at River Valley Community College. So if you can get accepted to the Harvard Business School and carry a C average while there, sure, you can be President, too.

And, just a quick side-note... There are educational psychologists that would argue that a C student has more material knowledge than a straight A student. For example, I have always had great grades for my entire college career, but I admit it's just because I am generally intelligent and test/write well. I'll get an A on a test and then, 2 weeks later, I won't remember one bit of material I had to study for the test. My wife, meanwhile, is a pharmacist. She struggled and crammed to squeak by with Cs in all of her classes. However to this day, she's like a walking encyclopedia of drug and chemistry knowledge. She had to legitimately LEARN the material to get by, thus making her a more qualified pharmacist.

That's why you'd rather have the doctor with the B average doing your surgery then the doctor who never got below a A in his entire life.

I don't know; I am unsure of what President Bush's grade was in school. It also makes a difference what school. When I got my BSEE I graduated from a very tough engineering school with a 3.22 of which I was very proud. When I received my MBA I graduated from a business school, the work being much less cerebral, with an 3.91 and am not nearly as proud of it. I know that I almost didn't get into my MBA program because of my 3.22 as a low B was the cutoff point for acceptance. Do you know which school let President Bush graduate with a 2.0 out of the MBA program? He is the only president in history with an MBA; or didn't you know that?

High I.Q. is not a requirement to become a President under the Constitution. Excellent leadership abilities even with lower I.Q. make good leaders.

You only have a chance at being President if you are rich and can put on a good show for the public. After becoming President you can do what you wish. I wish there would be elections based on honesty and real people, not just the rich fancy talkers.

You should probably have to pass some kind of ethics test and government/constitution test. If you haven't memorized the Constitution and Bill of Rights, how can you uphold it?

I don't necessarily think IQ tests are reliable, because sometimes genius' can be a little anti-social. There is a different between "intelligence" and "smarts." I personally think the president should have lots of smarts so they can handle multiple different situations.

Of course, international etiquette would be nice too!

Sure , if you can succeed in convincing large Corporations to back you and you promise to give them all the support , that a President has the power to do , to strip the American People of jobs , health care and decent wages .
Then I would say , that you wouldn't have to even finish school .

Einstein had a great IQ but was a poor leader. The test you must pass is on election day and the voters are the ones that grade you.
