Pitchers cant stop him, managers cant stop him, media cant stop him, acquisations cant stop him. Barring injury its done!!!! Its the only major record he doesnt own so deservingly so i hope he gets it soon.

Unfortunately he will because he is very close. Everyone knows it will be tainted but he is still an awesome baseball player. Hank Aaron has it right by saying he won't attend the game when Bonds breaks the record.

yes. these people saying bonds needs steroids to break it are stupid and dont know anything about baseball. steroids dont help with hand eye coordination which is more important that pure power. and if you look at the #s, bonds was already a hall of fame player before he admitted to taking steroids. yes, bonds will break the record unless he gets hurt.

Does he deserve It? No.

Steroids may not help with hand-eye coordination. Steroids do, however, make your hand speed a little quicker, which may be the difference between getting the ball in play and hitting a foul, or even missing it altogether. Steroids do, however, build muscle mass, which may be the difference between a home run and a long fly-ball out.
