Ain't that the truth!!! It sure seems like that in some cases! They're all excited about the wedding and spend so much time, effort, and resources on it, but they don't want to put forth any effort for the actual marriage! What they don't realize is that the wedding is only ONE day of the rest of their lives together! It's sad, but true.

Actually, my fiance, now husband and I decided instead of spending a fortune on a wedding & all that other planning stuff that we would fly to Sandals and get married and have our honeymoon there! It was so much fun and not as stressful. We saved so much money by not going all out for a big wedding. Our 5 year anniversary is coming up in August! We are very happy together!

Glen that is a question I have been pondering for a long time. Me and my wife had a small wedding. We might have spent 100 bucks. We saved the rest for the honeymoon. I feel the same way a 5 million dollar wedding is not going to make you happier in the marriage.

you be attentive to, i develop into questioning that too. I propose its terrible how plenty making plans and money that is going right into a marriage. I knew that I had my suited pal and that i needed to marry him yet i did not care approximately how plenty my gown develop into and all that. i develop into 19 years previous and only happy to be marrying my love. We have been given married on our 5 300 and sixty 5 days anniversary (of being mutually) and now we've been married for 51/2 years and mutually for 11 years. We had a small wedding ceremony with purely relatives. Our wedding ceremony meal develop into cooked by acquaintances of the relatives and it develop right into slightly of each and every of our widely used issues. i think of our entire wedding ceremony cost $2,500 and you be attentive to it develop into the suited day of my lifestyles!!!!!! If we renew our vows in 10 years i could so a similar element as quickly as greater!!!! All that concerns is which you marry the only which you adore!!!!!

My wedding was nice, but not overly extravagant. Very small, actually. We each had a child from prior relationships and I was actually in the early months of pregnancy with our baby. It would have been tacky and unwise to spend a lot of money on a wedding, we thought.

Big weddings are a couples way of telling everyone...'look I'm getting hitched'. A new trend should be to have divorce parties (usually 6mos after the big wedding).
