That is a great question. As I get a little older (nearing the big 50), I wish that people would still sing it. Some people think that as you get older you shouldn't miss the happy birthday song as it is for children but I don't agree.
I think that no matter how old you are, it should be sung. Is a birthday still the same if people don't sing, yes, I suppose so but for me, I would miss it if it was not sung.
I hope that when you have your next birthday, someone will sing it for you.

I was tickled pink this birthday when my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter called me up and started singing it!!! I loved it, I just don't like the age I became! :-)

Yeah. When I turned 16th my friend sing me happy birthday. They even dance.

Yup, like im 4 years old again.....and i still love it to this day....

They sing the Stevie Wonder Version though....now that im older......or the club version from Baltimore
