This has nothing to do with me by the way....... I just saw it in another question and I was just wondering if a 16 year old kid gets an 18 year old girl pregnant would he have to pay child support?

I totally agree that he should have to take financial responsibilty, but if he doesn't pay should he go to jail like all the other deadbeat dads? And what if he's still in school full time and can't have a part-time job?

In cases like this, the courts will either make him pay from a part-time job, or make his parents pay, or when he turns 18, he has to start paying and pay back support too. This is what they told my friends son.

If he is old enough to make a baby he should be old enough to take financial and every other kind of responsibility for it.
