i would have to go with no on this one because delmon young is exactly that young....he has put up good numbers but i dont expect him to do that for his first full season and vasquez just hurts your team except in the strikeout department because he sky rockets your era and whip......wells is going to have a great yera because of thomas, rios, overbay, and glaus in that lineup for protection he sees more pitches to hit whihc menas more home runs and i beleive he said he wants to steal more bases and thats allways a plus, plus a .300 average nver hurts your team.....

VERNON WELLS

2005 HR 28 RBI 97 BA .269
2006 HR 32 RBI 106 BA .303
2007 HR 3 RBI 9 BA .228

Depending on how deep your pitch rotation is, Javier has the potential of having a Cy young year, but it's too early in the season to really tell how good of a pitcher he'll be. Summer is not here yet when the homeruns start flying out of the ballparks like crazy again. He just needs to mess up in one game and his ERA will easily skyrocket back up again to his lifetime averages.

Delmon Young seems like he's a better hitter than Vernon Wells. But considering the Vernon has been around longer and a more proven player, you'll know for sure that Vernon'll put upper 20's in HR's and close to 100+ in RBI's.

It's a big risk to take, I would not take it. If you need a pitcher, there's Bartolo Colon & Randy Johnson that you can invest in. Hopefully, they're not both taken. Because both should be back soon. Good luck!

One more name to bring up, Cliff Lee of the Indians is almost coming back too!

No dont do it. Wells is having a superb year. Young is too inconsistent for my liking. Vazquez is also a little shaky and I just dont see him becoming a dominant pitcher. Keep Wells.
