Have a employer who does not let employees, go to church on sundays. That's discrimination against religion. Also intimidation and put downs also take a roll in it. If the boss is confronted, he uses his position and power to control. Just like a batterer controlling his spouse with different ways of demeaning and threats (fear of loosing job).

Probably not, but your employer would win if you're scheduled to work on Sundays and want to go to church instead. There have been cases before, where it comes down to, if you're scheduled to work on religious holidays and you don't work, people have been fired and sued their employer and lost. This is because you voluntarily work for the people you work for, and if you don't like it, you're free to go work somewhere else

Jesse Jackson just wants to go down as the next Martin Luther King Jr. He's completely obnoxious. He tries to make trouble so he can go on CNN and talk about how god damn awful all white people are. It's so annoying. Why do people have to put up such a fuss about everything and say it interfers with your civil rights? There's a Black Entertainment TV but if there was a White Entertainment TV the people who made it would be sued. If someone black applies for a job they won't get turned down because the employeers would be to afraid they'd end up in court. I'm so sick of people complaining about civil rights. Just get over it already.

You should perpetuate and demonstrate that you will not legislate your beliefs to propagate and need to negotiate, not spread the hate...

That's it. That's what Jesse Jackson would say.

You can't really do good impressions over the computer, can you...?

Seriously, what do you do any how exactly does he stop you? If you have to work Sundays, and thus by scheduling you to work is interfering with church, then there's nothing you can do about that - it's your job or church. Otherwise, I don't understand how he's stopping you. I think we need more info...

This question sounds phony. How can an employer stop you from going to church? If it's because you have to work on Sundays, you knew that when you took the job.

Even the catholics can go to mass on different days and I know that baptist can go on Wednesdays. Are you using religious services to get out of working on Sunday morning? I would check to see if there are evening services. Sounds like someone is trying to skate out of something here.

That depends on your bank account. He usually shows up for the sum of $100,000 (No, I am not joking).

Deal with it through your county/state labor office and file a complaint through them. Don't let a money-grubbing, out-of-wedlock baby having, political race baiter enter into the spotlight.

He could, but probably not good advice.

I doubt a boss could stop you and if he does you can probably sue him.
