I bought the PSAA0U-01C002/ Z Toshiba TAIS 1 year ago.

The laptop overheats and shuts off. I sent it to a toshiba authorized repairer and they told me that it was a bad mother board. This is a $600 part. My warranty expired less then 30 days ago.
I have been on hold with their Customer Relations dept for exactly 1 hour.
WHAT SHOULD I DO???

I dont think there is much you can do unless Toshiba recognise the problem as not isolated.
They would never admit it was a dodgy part, so your completely at the mercy of Toshiba's customer relations and I dont fancy your chances
