Nothing, I love my career because it is something I am passionate about and I do not consider it as one either- I do what I love.

I worked for the California Dept. of Forestry and Fire Protection for 2 years as a firefighter, but left because my mother was gravely ill. She passed away 2 1/2 years ago and I never went back. If I had it all to do over again, I would have stayed and taken bereavement leave. The rush from fighting fire is unmatchable. I loved it.

I would do the very same thing. From as early as I can remember, I always wanted to be a soldier. I joined the US Army as soon as it was possible to do so and spent 23 years doing exactly what I wanted to do. After retirement I taught military subjects (JROTC) for 16 years. I'd just like to be able to go back and do it all over again. I loved the military life.

I think I'd have gone into wildlife management, forestry or some other outdoors /park service career.

I've done the computer geek crap for 30 years and I have developed an allergy to the corporate cesspool.

I really wanted to become an engineer but I just couldn't hack all those math, chem & physics...so I chose the Social Sciences (Sociology & Psychology). If I were to do it all over again, I'd still choose the same path. I'm very happy where I am.

I would have finished my teaching degree instead of ditching that major to be a nurse. I could be retired now with a good pension.
