With love in Christ.

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.
I've come to two conclusions recently:
1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.
First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.
Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.
So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.
To be or not to be? "To be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.....

The meaning of life is both profound and simple.
It answers the order of creation, the motive of existence and the mystery of the universe to ourselves.
The meaning of life is:
Awareness Loves Life (A-L-L)
See: http://ucadia.org/uca/u23/230600.htm
Unfortunately, because we are life, we see the statement as
Life Loves Awareness (L-L-A).
But if you were able to comprehend just one thought of the universe from its perspective, then you'd see that the greatest expression of existence is life- that the key to life is existence.
That living is more important than knowing everything.
For example, there is a wonderful quote from buddhism-
before enlightenment, chop wood and carry water;
after enlightenment, chop wood and carry water.
Sadly, we sometimes are mistaken in believing that if we knew everything, our lives would be better. I can assure you that is not the case. Living is what counts.
All the very best.

Survival. Adaption. Conquest.
Many will find this repulsive, but we as humans haven't changed too awful much, really... Of course we put on airs for each other; but, we are about surviving our current dilemna, adapting to it, so that it is a common factor, and conquering it, so that it no longer poses a threat.
Of course, the answer to any problem, according to Deep Thought, is 42.

To find what inspires you and use it to create and inspire. Experience all aspects of all things. Never cease to search for adventure, truths, and new experiences. Never affect or let others affect you negatively; always affect and let others affect you positively.
Never use your beliefs to dictate what others can or cannot do; never let others' beliefs dictate what you can or cannot do.
Find a few good friends. Master a musical instrument. And travel.
That's about it.
