Alright, I already have a wireless router for my laptop so i can use the internet anywhere in the house. I was wondering what should I get so I can use the interenet everywhere I go? For example like in the car, for long trips, over a friend's house and away on vacation sort of things. Also I want to know if there are any separate wireless internet chip for going overseas? Thank you in advance.

What your talking about is wireless server tapping. You can do it 1 of 3 ways.

1) Get a new Mobile broadband card associated with the phone companies. This will take your exsiting signal and using a phoneline to the satalite give you internet access like a cellphone. This is very expensive because it takes alot of programming in the chips and it works very well.

2) Get a satalite card. Similar to mobile broadband but at the same time it has the ability to recieve a satalite hookup. You have to be relatively near a satalite dish emission zone though.

3) Try to hook onto every wirless network on the way. Sometimes there are large wireless networks such as the new clearwire network.

Other then finding wireless hotspots, the only other thing I can think of would be getting a cellular modem or use a cell phone as a cellular modem. (Assuming the cell phone can do that.)

It won't be as fast as Wi-Fi though, and it could be expensive. (Especially international.) Not sure how reliable it would be either as I've never actually used it.

Other countries may use wireless B/G like the US, though you might have trouble finding a hot spot in some areas.

You will probably need to speak with your cell phone provider about this. They offer a service you can use pretty much anywhere your cell phone works. (you don't HAVE to stick with your current cell provider.. shop around if you want)

This service will probably not work overseas or anywhere outside your cell coverage area (unless you pay a ton more).
It pretty much comes down to the more you pay the more coverage you can get :)
