intriguing....hmmm. good question.

i'd have to go with Bickle. mainly because i felt more of why Sonny did what he did as the movie progressed. you can actually see a sort of cockeyed logic to what he was doing--rather badly.

Bickle remains an enigma to me in a way. exactly what made him tick is what i find so intriguing. he was mad--and i guess i find the logic/illogic of insanity so hard to grasp.

while i view Sonny as actually being somewhat logical, Bickle was a crazed lunatic. and i'd hate for either of them to cross my path in real life.

Sonny from Dog Day Afternoon...I actually watched most of the movie. He had a sense of desperation in his part.
