It is kind and very compassion of you that you feel so strong for those who passed away in the shooting.
but you have to come to a way that to grief in the healthy and positive way.
I use to sad about my grandma passed away.
and spend night and nights crying but you must know, regardless how much you cry, those people are not coming back.
don't get me wrong, it is normal to be sad and cry but don't do it every day and forever.
the best is that think what you can do for them to benefit them and those people around them or even someone in the world.
you can
1.pray for them
2. do a good deed and forward it to them
3. maybe there is a school kids that show very loney and need a friend, you can prevent next cho happend by making friend with someone you think need a friend but do respec that person as a friend, don't do it just for pityfulness.
I am a Buddhist. there are things happened in this world, we can not explain. some is because of Karma and some are unknown, Only Buddha know but the most you can do is to the best you can to make this world a better place.
that's the best way to remember them.
instead of just keeping crying.
crying doesn't help in the long term
only compassion, love and action.
let's make this world a little better place tommorrow.

Sweetheart, this is the Big Bad World. You wakes up every day and you takes your changes. No guarantee any of us will see tomorrow, or an hour from now for that matter. Always makes me wonder when I hear someone say they're "saving themselves for marriage" - nothing says you'll ever get there! And who wants to die a virgin? So live for today, embrace the moment and never leave someone with hard feelings cause you may never see them again. Or, you could live to be a hundred!

you could not have stopped it-if you had got in the way you would be just another statistic-you are alive so enjoy life. you are only 15 years old and while i admire your concern for the victims and the bereaved (this is nice to see from a youngster) you have to get on with life-light a candle at your local church and say a prayer for the bereaved-you have a happy life-you come from a good family-enjoy life. but first you must go to church-say a prayer settle your soul-and the dreams will stop-i promise.

That entire tragedy is very disturbing and I am an emotional person to begin with so I have just stopped watching the news and pray for the victims

Don't feel guilty over something you don't need to be guilty over!! When it comes to terrorists and criminal acts, I think if you let these things keep you down and don't move on, then THEY WON. Don't let them win! Live your life, and love people because life is short, and there are no guarantees. The best revenge to have on someone who wants you to be miserable is to forget them and BE HAPPY. Don't waste energy on feeling guilty, cause you have no reason to be!

Stop constantly watching the news. Get involved in activities that you enjoy, with friends if possble.
Stay around people. You could have done nothing.

Why are you upset? I haven't followed it so I'm not upset. If something upsets you, turn it off.
