The council do a special composting bin which you can buy and it rots down into dark organic mulch which you can use on your garden again. Or the council do a special bag for throwing away garden waste which you leave out on collection day.

We have seperate yard waste bins that they pick up weekly. We do pay for the service as well as rubbish removal.

Compostint it will be your answer, and it is not a bad deal if you have a garden for vegetables. Good luck

You're supposed to put garden waste into green sacks - which your council are supposed to collect - in the same way your rubbish is collected.
Or you can take it to your local recycling centre or dump - as they can compost it. Or at least do something useful with it!

Ooh, we can put it in our green bin. I suppose you either have to compost it or take it to the tip where they have a special compost bit. What a pain in the bum.

Making into compost is a good idea if you are a gardener. If not, ask others if what they are doing with theirs. Maybe they'll have other good ideas.

Look at your local council website, they will probably have a list of places you can take it for composting, or a phone number to ring where it can be collected (probably for a fee).
