I am looking for a small town (pop. of around 20,000). I have 2 kids, so I'm looking at some places with great schools, too. I live in Wisconsin right now....I would like to move some place a little warmer. Thanks.

I thought you were looking for some place warmer? Boulder is another ski town. Why don't you consider Virginia? Or Maryland?
I know Virginia is on the top 5 of the list. I looked on the internet and couldn't find the states rankings in education anywhere. However check out this book at your local library.

And Boulder would be a huge change for you. population just in the city limits is over 95,000 and that doesn't even include the surrounding suburbs!

I lived in Boulder,CO i thought it was a very safe town.... no one was very mean to me .... Of the 6 years i lived there nothing shootings really happend........ Yeah there was shooting murders but everytown has that but Boulder had great police and everytihng... But the other town i have know idea....
