If it's rainy/snowy/muddy out, definitely.

If it's not, I would normally ask if they wanted me to take my shoes off. I prefer having them off, unless I am only going to be there for a couple of minutes.

Yea probably, but if like they tell you that its okay not to take off your shoes then i wont, but if thats not the case then yeah i do take off my shoes.

Unless somehow there'd be a blizzard (which is unlikely where I live and I won't voluntarily travel to any place that cold either) I'll be arriving barefoot.
