Generally the best practice is to go ahead and configure the new hardware. If this is a piece of hardware you don't need, then try the following:

1) Start->Control Panel->System Properties
2) Select the Hardware tab
3) Click on the Device Manager button
4) Locate the device with a yellow question mark
5) Right click that device and select to Disable it.

Ammmmm...actually that's not bad
Means you have new hardware installed
Either click on it and confirm or something
What, do you have it everytime?
Is it always coming on?
If not, then it's normal and okay
Just "X" out at the top of the small box
