Was this blog written by a teenager? Seriously, that is one of the dumbest conclusions I have ever heard. Partial birth abortions never - ever save anyone's life, there is only life lost. Maybe Republicans just care more about the health and rights of unborn women than Democrats do. People who think the death penalty is cruel and inhuman should have to watch one of these partial birth abortions to learn what those words really mean. This blog makes about as much sense as one titled "Why do Democrats Hate Babies?"

If it was a 5 to 4 ruling, it sounds like they agonized over the decision. (In other words, it was pretty even.)

I thought they only did partial-birth abortions when the kid was almost ready to be born. Hmmmm..... I might have to read up more on that.

As to the original question - Democrats and women's health - I really don't know.
