at first i thought he was disturbed mental ill kid who just went on a spur of the moment rage. Now that I know it was planned out it gives me a new feeling. its one thing to be mental ill but even most mental ill ppl don't commit mass murders and none plan them so I don't blame it on him being mental ill. he wasn't mentally ill. he was just evil. Have your feelings change since you found out that it was planned and not spur of the moment

What makes me mad is that we didn't get a chance to get inside his head. The coward. How can we prevent stuff like this when they kill themselves. Anyway, by his letters and notes, someone should have taken him seriously. Just like we do on the airplanes, where you can't joke about guns, bombs or hijacking. There is just going to have to be some lines drawn from now on. We will be watched and listened to whereever we are or go now , just to be safe.My feelings haven't changed, before the notes I figured someone was not treating him right, and I figured he was mentally unstable.

Planning a mass murder does not rule out the fact that he was mentally disturbed. Thankfully he paid the ultimate price and saved the country from any extra custodial costs by killing himself.

He was mentally damaged by the events in his childhood.
I blame ' the powers that be' for ignoring the sworn testimony of a Cop who said, ages before the massacre, Cho was a danger to both himself and others.
And the privacy (stupid) system that failed to prevent him buying a Gun by including his previous misdemeanours in the computerised check that shops can see before selling one to an individual.

I was right! I said that he dropped hints and documented his plans and thoughts. I was right!
And as predicted there are those who are steeping forward looking to gain attention cos the murderer was asian - no one cares that 32 innocent people are dead, and could have been spared.

i think he's still mentally ill but not in that depressed "i can't take it anymore" way, more of a antisocial personality disorder "look at me" way. he seemed like he enjoyed the whole idea of being remembered and talked about.

It made me see another side to a person. Instead of just thinking it was a mental meltdown, it makes me think of how evil and sneaky this person was.

Nope, this was planned, long-held, seething rage. I can't believe he has no parents or anyone who tried to come to his defense, but now I see why. He was intelligent, but evil. You can't really feel sorry for him, although you see in his video he had a lot of self-pity, even comparing himself to Jesus when He was crucified (they said Cho had a "Messiah complex").
