The girl might be right in some ways. As you know, Global Warming causes the temperature to increase therefore the weather will be warm. But sometimes, the hot weather can change to a cold weather. What I experience: yesterday was very hot, i had my shower and after five minutes I was sweating. Then at night, it rained like crazy and was cold. This is due to humidity and global warming play a part too. Global Warming is changing the temperature, sea level, the atmosphere, and a lot to come. It's just a matter of time to see what's going to happen next.

Absolutely! Look at the polar bear for example, they are losing their environment and food. Therefore, losing their numbers.

This is happening to a lot of animals habitats and food sources.

There are also issues with the worlds water supply. The ice bergs are melting, we have no water, we die.

So, ya, warmer weather causes bad things to happen, but there are things we, as the world population, can still do to halt the process. It's not too late.

I think there are some specials on t.v. 2morrow about it, being "Earth Day".

yes, its called global warming, in the artic and other places that is usually cold, is getting more warm then usually so ice melts (Glaser's) and the oceans will be alot more water which = to flooding in areas that are under the water level.

global warming is caused by us humans in the toxic gases that end up in the air for ex. (carbondeoxide) and the carbon, will acted like a green house which lets the warm air in but not out.
there is alot more reasons on why this is and how the effects on earth is getting very dangerous with weather etc, so i hope that i helped you with this.
But we can still help out with the environment with a great holiday called "Earth Day" this is a day that we clean up mother earth and plant plants that will look great in areas.
have a great day.

Harry, how can we possibly kill a whole planet??? Countless meteorites of all shapes and sizes and chemical compositions have not been able to do that in the millions of years that they have been smashing into this planet, and a puny little species like us, will? Do you really believe that? We may destroy our own habitat, true, and make life difficult for ourselves and other forms of life, but that is as far as it goes.

I guess tht depends on how you look at it. In New Jersey they are flooding. That's not good. But is it due to warmer temps? Hard to say. It seems to be on the news every year where some part of the country floods out.

In Maine we have had mild winters. Bad for the ppl who make there living off the cold. Such as ski areas, snow plows, fuel dealers. But its good news for the ppl who have to pay for the fuel oil, and pay to get their driveways plowed in the winter.. And ski areas make their own artificial snow.

Are you attributing everything you don't like to humanity?

If you actually new anything about climate and weather, you would know that they are continually variable and changing. They aren't supposed to be the same every day, weak, month, and year, and just because they aren't doesn't mean there's something wrong.
