Am trying to design a logo and i want to upload it on my website how do i copyright protect it so that someone else does not copy it as their logo.

You can't.

It's possible to make it harder to steal the image directly, for e.g. set it as a background to a div using an obscure piece of CSS on the page. But at the end of the day if someone can see your logo they can copy it, either by using the idea and making their own... or with print screen.

Do this: with each and every idea: write a thorough description, make a wonderfully accurate drawing showing measurement distances, thicknesses and show the items all from every side. For each item individually put everything dealing with one item or idea in an envelope and take it to the post office and send it to yourself "registered mail" when it's delivered sign for it and put it, unopened, into a safety security box and forget about it. Then go about starting your own company to make your idea a reality. If anyone tries to steal your idea your unopened registered mail will hold up in court if you ever need to sue someone for stealing your ideas.

If your that concened why not contact a lawyer that specialises in patenting or the Patents Office if your in the UK
