I stopped breast feeding in Jan. My OB did a blood preg test on 3/21 which was neg, so rather than waiting for my cycle I started taking the pill and got my first period 14 days ago and it lasted for 3 days. I sometimes mess my pills up and most recently I was unable to get my pills refilled on Easter, so I waited till the next Sunday to start. During that week that I was not on BC I had unprotected sex with my hubby. Since my period had just ended a couple days earlier we didn’t think there was a big risk. Now 14 days since the start of my last period (first period since stopped breast feeding) I am experiencing very sharp intermittent pains in my lower abdomen (just above my left leg) and some intermittent vaginal pains as well along with fatigue increased gas and constipation. Having had a period so recently, I highly doubt that these could actually be signs that I am pregnant. So what else could be causing them? Has anyone else experienced this? These pains very much remind me of being pregnant, but I think it is highly unlikely. Someone have a similar situation?

A cyst or something like endometriosis could be causing these pains that you are having. The only way to find out for sure is to get back in touch with your dr to let them know what's going on and see what they think could be causing this pain.
