if your using itunes then go to file and add file to music and go to your "my music" folder and locate the folder, or u add your entire "my music" file by instead of going to add file go to add folder.

Open up iTunes, find the music file on your computer. Then drag and drop the file into iTunes.

itunes only cares where the stongs are stored. Save the songs on your desktop and drag them into itunes, or import them into itunes using the file menu.
