I watched the news this morning and this was actually a story. Simon was talking with Paula and rolled his eyes at her, just at the moment Chris was talking about the VT killings. He apologized to everyone, stating that he may be mean but would never ,ever put down anyone from this horrific event. He was deeply sorry.

He didn't say anything mean, it was all misinterpreted, he was saying something to Paula about Chris singing and rolled his eyes, while Chris was talking about the VT, and everyone took it that Simon was being disrespectful, but he didn't even hear what Chris was saying, because he was talking to Paula. it was explained on last nights show.

couple people already answered. basically, he started talking to paula about chris's singing and that it wasn't very good. chris was trying to say that his "nasally" singing was intentional and a style of singing and that's what simon was basically rolling his eyes at.............but.........it was just bad timing. as soon as chris mentioned VT and telling them to stay strong, the camera cut to the judges, including simon, with him rolling his eyes and he rolled his eyes, simon had no idea he was talking about VT since he was tlaking to paula.
i think people who get so offended at these little incidents need to calm the *bleep* down. like the people who made such a big deal about Imus.

Apparently he rolled his eyes, that was all & he says he was talking to Paula & never heard the person mention the VT killings

he didn't say anything. when chris was talking, simon was talking to paula and rolled his eyes. he never heard chris say anything about virginia.

it wasn't what he said it was what he did,rolling the eyes and not paying attention to what was being said,wish they would get rid of SIMON,he is selfcentered and cares nothing about the contestants,only if they are felmales showing skin.
