$1 Blackjack at Ellis Island - Slots-A-Fun
Several casinos downtown have $3 table minimums
You can play $1 craps at a very nice casino - The Westin Casuarina which is two blocks East of the strip on Flamingo has happy hour from 5pm-10pm weekdays. During happy hour you can play craps for $1.
I don't know of one person on this Earth who can look at a slot machine and tell you the long term payout. The Nevada Gaming Commission does not even break down their reports(public) for each casino. They only break the payouts down by "area" >strip-downtown-boulder Hwy-etc< And by denomination. On the other hand a video poker player can, by looking at the pay schedule tell you what the long term return will be on that machine "assume the casinos that have good/great VP are also going to have good/great slot machines< at least that's logical. For a list of all the good video poker in Las Vegas.

this site also has a breakdown on every hotel/casino slot club.

Its been a few years since I lived in Vegas, but when I was there the best place to play slots was at newly opened casinos. they seemed to set the machines to pay out more frequently during the first few weeks the casino was open. I assume this was to generate "word of mouth" interest. There's a lot of competition on the Strip. So if any have opened within a few weeks during your visit, those are the first ones I'd head out to.
Also, many of the change guys and other casino employees know which machines haven't paid out a jackpot recently. In fact, sometimes when a machine is way overdue the employees will pool their money and play it in shifts- figuring statitistically it has to hit sometime soon. Best advice in Vegas period is to find a local or two to direct you to the best clubs, etc. (In fact many of the locals wait until after midnight to hit the better clubs- waiting for the tourists to fade). But if you find a bartender, cocktail server or change attendant that you establish a good rapport with ask them if any of the machines are "overdue".
Lastly, some of the "theme" machines- like the ones in Ceasars that give away a car and have the winning pull actually start the engine (don't know if they still do that- it used to get awfully smokey...) seem to always pay off on holidays. When I worked in the Forum Shoppes we used to actually joke about it. Xmas Day, New Years Day, etc someone would hit for a car. That may or may not be coincidence, but if I was playing on a holiday, I'd look long and hard at the "gimmicky" slots.
Good luck.

Go downtown, the tables are better than the strip, and you can go to 3 or 4 different casinos within 5 blocks. The monorail only goes to a couple of hotels, the monte carlo, new york, new york, on the south part of the strip. Try the smaller places on the strip, there's places like O'Shea's, Silver City, where the odds are better, and you can have fun.

The Monorail is soo not worth it. Gambling on the strip is expensive and I've never done well there. I like gambling downtown. You can walk all over Fremont street. There are lots of $1 tables, and cheap slots. It's more of the "old Las Vegas" experience; Hotel & Casino, not Resort. Have fun!

hi, i've got been to Las Vegas a pair of cases, as quickly as while i became into approximately 13. i don't think of she's too youthful, there are various families that flow there. From what I undergo in innovations, there are various stuff to do there with infants. between the lodges, will not be able to undergo in innovations the call, does a brilliant pirate coach on a boat in a synthetic lagoon exterior the hotel. there's a very relaxing Coke Museum, that's all approximately Coke and has somewhat cool fountains that spray Coke into your cup as you carry it up. My siblings and that i enjoyed that place! additionally they have some excellent night shows you may flow to. We went to an rather reliable magician, which became into super. i'm exceedingly confident that throughout MGM Grand there's a Rainforest Cafe, that's an amazingly relaxing eating place the place you're surrounded with the aid of a synthetic jungle finished with the peculiar thunder typhoon and animal noises. Very relaxing and robust food too! in reality, in basic terms poking around all the lodges on the strip is relaxing for the finished relatives as a results of fact each and each is in order that over-the-excellent in its very own way and has its very own subject. Las Vegas is one in all those places the place there's a lot to verify and do and exceedingly a lot caters to each age and pastimes! needless to say, it does have a acceptance as being somewhat bit a promiscuous place and there are some unsavoury characters approximately, yet in basic terms use complication-loose experience and you'd be nice. i'm confident you will possibly have a excellent holiday and your daughter would have a lot of relaxing!

Remember ,they didn't build vegas on winners! try the local clubs ,not the ones on the strip go downtown. 1 and 3 dollar games can still be found on week nights when things are slower Monday thru thrusday. remember that slots pay for the upkeep, payroll ,lights exp ect. in a casino so it's a matter of luck. table games are where a casino makes it's real money. good luck!

I have no Idea about the gambling (only 20), but we went last week and spent $70 on the tram alone, for four days. I would definately use the trolleys or bus system. It might take a little longer so plan ahead, but you can get a pass for the Duece- bus, for $5 all day

the $1 and $3 table....hahaha, if only you can find a chair, because they is usually one table on some "lower class" casino, like Slots of Fun next to Circus Circus. Some out of Strip's may have a $3 BJ. and usually during off-peak days.(Sun after 5PM thru Thur 2PM)
