I use several e-mail addresses. One for work, one for family and close friends, and one to catch all the spam.

You can never unsubscribe from spam... sorry.

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT ever unsubscribe to spam. You are letting spammers know that your email address is valid. That makes your email address that much more valuable. They then sell your email address to hundreds of other spammers, etc, etc. I suggest using a temporary email address, courtesy of 10 Minute Mail: http://10minutemail.com/10MinuteMail/index.html

I recommend you look into spamgourmet.com. What you do, is sign up for an account, and then afterwards, to make a throw-away email address, all you have to do is type word.username.size@spamgourmet. The word is something you have never used before, like pie. User name is self-explainable. And size, is how many emails you want forwarded to your real email address, until it self-destructs.

a lot of spammers wont let you unsubscribe or make it so difficult you don't want to bother. I would recommend a 2nd address.

idk , u risk clogging the server , and making that email pop3 25 port server charging money for their service.

on the other hand, blacklisting of email services isnt that great and always doesnt work. sometimes the advertiser gives money to email domain servers to have the consumer not be able to block their message.

I would go w / a throw away, i have about 10. but only prob is u forget them etc...

And you usually increase advertising traffic...
