Unless someone on yahoo answers has xray vision, no one will be able to answer that for you. Go get an xray.

Usuallly if you break a bone you will experience extreme pain at first then the pain will subside as your bodies natural pain killers kick in. During that time a "bump" will usually show up over the spot where the bone is broken

Get it checked out, it may not be "broken" it could be a small heirline fracture or something.

Either way...purple and brown...ouch. Head to a doctor. Even if it's not broken they can at least ease some of the pain

Ok... sorry to say this, but people on yahoo answers dont have xray vision, so best bet is to have it checked. It could just be just a sprian but even so they will give you a splint which will make you way more comfortable. Please get well soon!!! =D

can't tell without an x-ray (unless the bone is sticking out through the skin of course).

go have it checked out by a doctor. If you can move your fingers it is probably just injured.
