what does the blue cross and tab mean on a pc or laptop..i accidently clicked it?

clicked on the option by mistake and shed loads of programmes started bein added to my system..i crash stopped the pc..what will this do or what have i done..appreciate your help here fellas or lasses

i guess someone or a particular web site try to send something bad on ur pc.if not,u must have click on the tab to allow the download of whatever that was.u did it right by shutting it off on ur pc.now all u hav to do is disconnect all the net from ur pc n run spyware , anti virus n such to get rid of unwanted things.most likely in ur case,the download didn't seem to finish coz u shut it down in the middle.for the safe side just run the above.good luck.
