I say, 'I'm not ready,' because I used to say, 'I haven't found the right person' but then everyone would try to fix me up with the perfect person for me! Ugh!

this is what I actually do say and I had to say it a few days ago.
"I'm only 20. I live with my boyfriend, we both work and I'm a college student. As soon as you get married then you have children and children aren't in my plans just yet so I'm avoiding the whole situation by not getting married.I do plan to get married but once my life is set in stone- right now there's just to many factors that could ruin a marriage.
I love my boyfriend, we've been together forever which just makes me believe I don't need to rush into marriage- it will happen. Plus rushed things end just as fast. However don't worry when there are plans for a wedding you will be invited"
I know it's a lot to say but people want to know the whole story so I give it to them. Otherwise they'll just assume my boyfriend is a dick and wont marry me. Not the case but people love to assume and make lies.

Gaa, I hate that, it is a stupid question. I just tell them I'm not married because it isn't the right time. Another good one is, "Why do you ask?" People never know how to answer it, and you can change the subject then.

What a rude question. I think the best way to respond to rude people is to be overly nice to them. They hate it. So I might say something like, "I'm just waiting to find a winner, someone like your spouse."

Do people still ask that question?
I'd say because I haven't found the one.
Or
Because I'm busy living my life.

Because I have better things to do with my time (if you don't want to get married) or Because I haven't found him yet (if you do). Either way, that ought to shut them up.

I don't need to be married to feel complete. I'm happily fine just the way things are :-)

I would say "I'm only a teenager, I'm too young to get married"

I'd say "you must not've met my wife. We married back in 1999 and have a son together."
