I have a brother cs6000 computer sewing machine and have attempted to wind the bobbin several times. please help me! and be specific!

The bobbin spins but it spins unevenly in the spool and it even starts spinning on the winder.

You can get the owner's manual for that machine at

The instructions for bobbin winding start on page 12 (labeled 11 if you print it).

Does the bobbin spin? It may be a loose belt driving the bobbin winder. That's always the first thing to go out in my wife's (several) sewing machines. She's always looking for a machine with a working bobbin winder -- or if she can't find one, then guess who gets to do it, by hand...

Other than that, I'd have to look at it (which I can't), sorry.

You don't! You throw it out and buy a fully loaded replacement bobbin. How else do you think that Brother makes its money?

didn't you get a book?? there are peices of hardware on the top of most sewing machines, but for your specific machine you need your book
