I am DEFINITELY not satisfied with the current state of US affairs. I don't think we can blame the current govt because Bush was reelected even though he made so many huge blunders and lied so blatantly. I think it is the uneducated citizens who are too lazy or unwilling to inform themselves of what is going on in the world. They are too easily satisified with the simplistic answers provided by the media and bush administration. it is pretty sad that the people who are most in favor of fighting for democracy in other parts of the world don't seem to care that we don't even have it any more in the US.

Well if Nixon didn't destroy our government I seriously doubt Bush will. First we are stuck in that war now, I feel if we leave the middle east will explode in Warfare and we will have to return to fulfil treaty obligations which could become a much larger conflict and many more people will die. Second we let bankers do it to us again with Mortgages and now the whole country is going to pay for the greedy banker, I feel we will by the end of the year be in a serious recession. Don't blame bush we are a free society we did it to ourselves. Could we do alot better of course, first way is for all Americans to vote finally things would change then.

Frankly. I'm cool. The stock market is up. Unemployment is at full employment & I just found a new job. Oil prices are high , but that is due to market driven price/ political roadblocks to drilling. Crime is up, but is a local issue. The War? We have finally put a new General in charge and the surge is put pressure on the bad guys to find new hidding places and non military targets. Could we do better? Sure, that why we must all pray we don't do something stupid like elect Clinton or Obama for President.
