Being that big doesn't mean anything if you can't play the position. If you've got some talent and speed I'd say you've got a good chance being that size.

guys that are 6'7" and 260 very seldomly fall into D3 unless they stink as players or don't seem to have potential to grow bigger and better. you've got a chance if you can play. either position is a good one for your size but your skill will get you farther.
if u wonder why i say your size doesn't fit in D3, i played with a guy in D3 ball that was a 6'6" TE and 240 when he graduated. he didn't belong, but he was much thiner coming in. plays arena ball now after being cut during training camp by the Vikings. also played with 2 D1 o-linemen in high school, neither had your size but one has a chance at being a late round draft pick and the other should be starting at Miami this year. skill carried them...

yeah you have an opportunity to I would imagine. You need to work hard and keep in shape and study the game as much as you can. You need to workout regular and definately eat right. Alot of proteins and carbs. See a physician or someone more experienced in that area. (I'm no bodybuilder) You need to develop your skills on the football field and it also helps to play other sports as well. So you can develop alot of skills and be well rounded athleticly. The best example is Tony Gonzalez, Julius Peppers, and Antonio Gates. You def got tha size. They all played basketball and football in school and now play TE or DE very well in the pros. Good luck!

It has nothing to do with how tall you are or how much you weigh, but rather how good you are at playing the postition you play. Look at Emmit Smith for instance, he was only 5'9" and he's the greatest running back of all time! So if you got the brains and the skill to excel then there is no reason you cant play college ball. Work smart and train hard and you'll make it.

You have the size, but so does everybody else in college. In fact, they may be bigger than you! It comes down to talent, ability, and smarts. Learn the game, the schemes the plays and train, train, train! With the size you have, you're looking like more O-line or D-line than TE. But if you have GREAT hands and speed and you can get open, Hey, you may look at TE or blocking TE.
6-7 260, if you're fast and can catch coaches will love ya!!!

6' 7" and 260? You are tall and actually skinny for that size. I do doubt your measurements especially being only 16.

Size is a factor but you have to a lot of ability. The question should be,do you think you can make it to college football? If yes, then do it!

yeah you got a chance if you can actually play the game. your size reminds of julius pepper or a taller alex brown. put on 30-35 more lbs and you could be the next tommie harris depending on strength and speed. although youre alot taller than he is.

You have the size that the scouts look at, but it is ultimately how you play that gets you there. I know big guys that are no good, size does not matter, it is your heart, how much you want it.

at your size u could end up playing some d-3 ball, but if you want to play d1 you are going to have to train your *** off, and put on at least 20 more pounds to play on the o-line(forget about playing tight end)
