try putting the fruit before and after he eats and do it fast so he can't spit it back out.

some babies never eat the stage 3 foods and some just eat them later. maybe stay on stage 2 a little longer and try the stage 3 in another month. If he still doesnt want them at 11 or 12 months just go to the dices (gerber graduates) and make some dices of foods at home

I haven't had this problem myself, because I started her on veggies. She didn't get fruit until about a week or so after starting veggies. I can say, however, that she definitely PREFERS fruit. The only thing I've found is that I only offer fruit in the earlier part of the day, and only offer veggies in the later part of the day. This way, she just never expects that sweetness at supper. Some veggies have weird texture that babies don't like, which could also be part of it. I tried pureed lima beans. Good luck! She spat that crap out like I'd fed her dirt! Put peas she loves. I just boil them and put them on her tray after they've cooled. She can pick them up herself, so it's fun for her. Also, squash & yams are sweeter, like fruit, so those are good to try. I make my daughter's squash with a little nutmeg & some cloves. She loves it. Also, apparently, if you get them eating squash & yam, but not greens, they will turn yellow & look jaundiced! So try to sneak in the greens whenever you can! :)

make your own babyfood . You are safe with almost everything that you eat to make into baby food at this age with your baby . It is better for them also as long as your eating healthy . I wouldn't suggest to go puree a pizza slice but if you have peas mashed potaties and a chicken breast tak a little bit of everything and puree it in a blender and feed it to him .

Give him real food that he can feed himself.
And I mean *real* food not CRAP like gerber puffs, cookies, hot dogs, canned meats, mechanically seperated chicken products.
Carrots, broccoli, lean meat, anything you eat that is healthy. Just give him a bit and let him go nuts.

My baby started to eat solids because she would pick food off my plate and eat it. If I gave her her own plate, she would ignore it. Maybe if you pretend to eat it and put it on your own plate, and then LET him sneak a piece off your plate, he will eat it. Make it a game.
Or, maybe he's just not ready yet. It's ok.
