It took about 3 weeks for it to empty my system when I miscarried once at 7 weeks.

Hi there. Sorry for your loss. As far as the hormonal levels go, the standard it 1-2 weeks. If you have a DNC, then it could be a little sooner. If for some reason the test is still showing positive after 14 days, then call your doctor. I lost twins at 6/8 weeks. (I lost them separately.) It took about a week for me after the DNC. Good luck.

When I had my m/c, the nurse told me to test a week after the bleeding stops. If its not negative at that time call a doctor and you will probably have to have a D&C.
Good Luck

it should take a few days to a week. If after a few days you still have a positive test you should see your obgyn.

It depends... was a D&C done? how high was your HCG to start? was it a complete/missed AB? retained products? You really should ask your OB/GYN... And if you haven't talk to one during this ordeal (for which I am sorry for your loss) you really should...
