Rabbits only need to chew wood to keep their constantly growing teeth worn down. The same effect can be achieved with the proper diet - for a bunny this is 75% hay and proper rabbit pellets (not mix). This will sort out her teeth and her digestion (as long as she isn't one of the bunny breeds where their teeth grow wonky anyway). As long as she's on this sort of diet, don't worry if she isn't chewing wood.

As for the playing - well it isn't really a problem, it just means she doesn't want to! You can get little rabbit toys like balls and chewy things at Petsmart that you can put in her cage so they're there if she does want to play with something. All bunnies are different, I've met ones that love balls, ones that love chewy things, and one's that don't like to do anything except eat and sleep. Some like to be picked up and/or stroked, some don't.

As long as your bunny is healthy, she'll be happy - although perhaps not so much if she's alone. Do you only have one bunny? They're not really creatures that like to be alone, they live in large groups in the wild, so it's best to have another of the same sex. Even rabbits that love their mummies need company of their own kind!

Maybe your rabbit is sick or isn't feeling well. If so, she might need to visit her vet. If not, then son't.

Your rabbit needs to chew on something so that her teeth don't grow too long so that she can't eat. If she doesn't start chewing soon she may need to have the vet trim her teeth, wich can be painful for the rabbit. Feed her hard pebbles so that she gets some chewing in there, cuz she won't stay away from food, if she wan'ts to live. If she doesn't chew the sticks, then rub them next to her nose until she gets tired of you doing that and bites it picks it up and drops it, then repeat for a minute or two to also help a bit.

When you let your rabbit out to play, pick her up and sit down and just pet her for a bit. Just continue on doing that every day, so that she will get the idea that you want her to be comfortable outside of her cage. Some rabbit don't like leaving theor cages , cuz that is like leaving their home, and they don't feal comfortable outside of it.

Hope I helped.

Well I'm not a bunny expert infact i just got 2 bunnies last October but from what I know bunnies dont really "play". They might run around and chew on things though. I dont know why she just runs back into her cage. How long ago did you get her? Maybe she just needs to get used to you and her new living space.

Do you really want a chewed up cage? You can get some toys and salt blocks for her to play with and chew on. That's what I always did for my bunnies. And make sure she's eating right, if you notice she isn't eating and/or seems listless you might want to take her to the vet.
