If I'm just going in for a more in depth checkup that involves having my blood tested for diabetes and my cholesterol, what things would be itemized in my bill? I'm not going in because I don't have insurance, I'm just curious as to what would be billed because I really should go in and get these tests.

The office visit and the lab tests. The bill for the lab tests is separate and is billed to insurance just as the office visit is. If no insurance, the office visit must be paid for up front and the lab bills you.

each lab differs in how much they charge for each test, you need to find out which lab your doctor uses and then call them for their prices.
