Turks have committed atrocities against their ethnic minorities including Armenians and Kurds. The first genocide of the 20 th century was the Armenian genocide committed by Ottoman Turks. Armenians were foced out of their homes and they were deported to Syrian desert but many Armenians lost their lives. Women ,children and men were starved and tortured. Ottoman Turk officials planned this crime against humanity and made a pretext and excuse for referring to their national security. Ottoman Turks released criminals from their prisons mainly those who were in jail for murder. This was one example of how Turks treated their ethnic minority then I will mention Kurds who face discrimination in Turkey. Kurds cannot celebrate their own holidays without being monitored by Turkish police and Turks suppressed Kurds till to date. There is no real freedom of expression in Turkey. Please remember what happened to Mr. Hrant Dink Turkish/Armenian journalist who was shot dead by an ultranationalist

...who was shot dead in Istanbul by an ultranationalist Turk. Orphan Pamuk Nobel Prize Winner in Literature faced charges for insulting "Turkishness". He was acquitted though. There are many similar cases with journalist in Turkey.
The boycott is initiated to compel the Republic of Turkey to clean up its Human Rights Record by ending:
* The denial of the Armenian Genocide
* The denial of the Assyrian Genocide
* The denial of the Greek Genocide
* The occupation of Cyprus
* The illegal blockade of Armenia
* The suppression of the Kurds
* The imprisonment of journalists
* The suppression of freedom of speech
* The destruction of Christian monuments
* The torture of prisoners
* And many others...
Turkish government must end its policies and end blockade on Armenia and Turkey has no right pressuring other governments with possible economic sanctions if other country recognizes the Armenian genocide.

And I belong to an ethnic minority (not Armenian or Kurd, there are other minorities in Turkey as well, but I guess you or EU are not interested in hearing about them) in Turkey. I've never faced any discrimination nor has my family.
And I don't know why people who don't have f******g idea about Turkey make such false accusations.
