Secrets by definition ,as someone has said below , cannot be shared.You are probably refering to very personel events that you have known or that you are facing today.It depends , concerning me , what is the personel thing that you have on your heart.
There are many many things that i will share with my wife , things that i will share with my children .
Concerning my children i will share with each of them about different matters as each one of them has a different approach about different matters of life.
There are a few things that i will share sometimes with "strangers".I have noticed that is sometimes easier to share with people you have never met and that you will never meet most probably.
I notice on Yahoo 360 that many persons share very intimate problems that they are experiencing in their family lives.
It can be a good thing or a VERY DANGEROUS thing , for obvious reasons.( Blackmailing ,Threatnening , Make public things that have been sharing etc etc.)
There are people who are ruthless and have a different or false appreciation of what is trust and they can very easily put in public what have been shared during a period of time .
Moreover , people who are reading the blogs or during the chat whatever it is , have only a one side version of the " story." and do not have a real appreciation of the FACTS.
I personally will not reveal to anyone what people have shared with me even to ask advise from someone else.

A couple I would take to the grave - probably to protect those it may affect more than anything else - others I may share if the right person and right time came along.

there are some i'll probably spill when the danger period is over or nothing serious is at stake. Some i'll write in my novel and pretend it's fiction. But some are definitely going to my grave!
