speed up the refresh rate.

Turn up the REFRESH RATE as high as it will go. That will alleviate your eye-strain. This has worked for me everytime I get a new monitor, or video card.

Even changing the refresh rate up one notch might eliminate the symptoms -- it's pretty weird.

As to HOW you do that, right-click anywhere in a blank portion of your windows desktop. A little popup box will popup. Select Properties, and the video dialog box will come up. Click on the Settings tab, then the Advanced button. From there it is monitor/videocard independant, so I can't guide you -- but you should be able to figure out how to change the refresh rate from there.

You need to put the disk that came with the video card in the cd drive and follow the directions.

Then follow the directions.
