For a Moment there I bet you thought you mde sense.

Jesus said by thier fruits you shall know them.

Not the fruits of the crusaders, or the fruits of the church of england tht actually bought and sold african slaves.

Not the fruits of the catholic church and all the attrocities they commited in the early age.

Not the fruit of the western churches who once upon a time segregated black christian from white christian.

Not the fruit pf the western power who in the name of God destroy and starve millions to death.

I actually meant the fruits of jesusc christ who said a new command i give unto you that you love one another.

Everything hinges on LOVE....all the people you mentioned hd this fruit they would not do what ever they did.

I am A r m e n i a n Christian born and raise in Iran.
Emigrated to u.s.a when the Revelation started. So are the most ARMENIAN, as we taught the history will repeat itself. Due to Armenian Genocide.
During Shah of Iran era, we Armenians had our Christian churches and also Armenian schools, still
we do have all of those freedom back in Iran.
Armenian Iraqis,Lebanese,Syrian, have Armenian churches and also schools.
Now in certain Muslim countries you,me (Christians) are not allow to have any structure which represent any other religion but Islam. So as
you see certain things has changed, certain things are not possible any more.
I believe if the Muslims in England want to build their mosque, the citizens of England should not pay for it.
As the same the Iranian Government did not paid
for our Churches or Schools. we did it ourselves.

That has nothing to do with the Church of England, or turning their back on God

The reason is this, the group which intends to construct the mosque are Tablighi Jamaat, and they are associated with global terrorism and the moves to force women to wear both the Muslim headscarf (hijab) and the face-veil (niqab).

Tablighi Jamaat every year sponsors hundreds of British Muslims to travel to Pakistan, where they attend extremist madrassas.

The group's name means "missionary group", and their headquarters is the Markazi mosque in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. This mosque, based in Savile Town, was funded by Saudi money, and is the largest purpose-built mosque in Europe. It was opened in 1980. Adjoining the Markazi is a school, the Jaamia Talimul Islam, which is also run by Tablighi Jamaat. Here 300 students from around the world take a seven-year course in Arabic, and are indoctrinated into Tablighi's narrow and orthodox version of Islam.

sorry i understand your concern like the prophet of old. you are the John the Baptist of today. You dumb Brits replaced christianity with democracy that does not recognise state religion and turned round to fight islamic terrorism which is supported by all arab state governments. if you have finished whining, you may now ask a question because there is none in your essay!

I do not worry too much about the Muslim religion. Within the next twenty years it will have a much calmer voice. This will happen when Muslim women realise that their men are using them as slaves. It will be hard for them, as it was for The Suffragettes, but in the end they will bring good reforms for Muslim women and therefore, the whole religion.

I don't have a problem with it at all. If muslims want a huge mosque they can have one - so long as it's not payed for with taxpayer's money. Nobody's saying "only Muslims are getting religious buildings" - if Christians wanted a new huge church built they'd probably only have to ask.

If England allows this to continue you will have to pray in a Mosque (on a prayer rug) and imagine that Jesus is hanging on the forward wall. You will be reciting Muslim sunas and spouting Jihadist propaganda. Muslims are taking over. No doubt about it.

Nobody cares, it's just that guy that posted earlier. Nobody in england beleives in God anymore, might it have something to do with the masons? They have infiltrated the church by the thousands...anything that brings the concept of god back to england or UK should be welcome.

How can a follower of Islam use the internet?

The stuff which is on the internet is looked down upon by Islamic law. You just broke Islamic law if you are a follower of Islam.

Sorry to have to tell you that but you seem to be all for following Islam, guess that makes you the hypocrite.

What does the building of churches, or converting churches into pubs, have to do with repenting and "turning back to God"?

Were apostles Peter, James and John famous architects? Are St. Paul and St. Augustine notable engineers remembered for their remarkable buildings?

When you say *back to* God, what moment in history do you want to go back to? The era when Christians burned other Christians to death for daring to translate the Bible into English?

Or perhaps you would like to go "back to God" the way the godly Puritans hunted down "witches" and killed them?

Or how about going "back to God" with the Christians who exterminated other Christians in the Albigensian Crusade?

Or "back to God" with the God-fearing English who cut the tongues out of other Christians for daring to be Quakers?

Or "back to God" with the worshipful Christians of Massachusetts colony who banned the celebration of Christmas? And their descendants in Boston who attacked Benjamin Franklin for inventing the lightning rod, thereby depriving Almighty God of one of his most useful weapons for disciplining mankind?

Or "back to God" with America's attorney-general John Ashcroft who prayed daily, anointed himself with holy oil before taking up his duties, and draped covers over the statues in the lobby to cover up the provocative nakedness of these Greek marble figures?

Or "back to God" with our sanctimonious George Bush who talks with God while he destroys his own country along with destroying Iraq?

Or "back to God" with the Fuhrer of the Third Reich who told the Reichstag in 1938 that he was sure that he was doing the work of the Almighty God when he acted against Germany's Jews?

Oh yes, getting "back to God" is just what we need. So that's settled. We must get "back to God."

So the next question is - which God?

Shall we "return back" to Allah? Zeus? The Lord Krishna? Thor? Attis of Phrygia? Osiris of Egypt? Yahweh of the Hebrews? Jupiter of Rome?

Oh, I see - you want us all to accept *your* choice as the only valid one, and disrespect all the others? Why? Who gave you that authority over the rest of the world's believers?
