I just think the media focuses too much on violence and for one day it would be nice to do a huge coverage just promoting Peace.

That is a great feel good gesture, but it will do NOTHING to furthur peace. The only thing that is going to do that, is if people let go of their hatred towards each other.

I think this is a good idea because, so many have died in the many wars that this fighting world has fought through for years and years. We need to commemorate a day just for them to honor the help and bravery of the many soldiers who helped the many countries involved in war. Most of these soldiers somewhat contributed to the development of peace in the many wars.

Which government is th? I didn't know that one government could dictate to the whole world! As much as Bush wants to, he still can't tell the rest of the world what to do!

even if they did it there would still be violence in the world
