I ovulated on april 17 and my and my husband only had sex on april 16th, what are the chances of me conceiving this cycles, since we only got to have sex that one day?

The chances are pretty good because the sperm can live up to 5 days (with 2 days being about average) so they probably just had enough time to make it to your fallopian tubes when the egg was released. Just remember, in any given cycle a couples chances are only about 20%. Good luck and baby dust!

There is still a good chance that you will conceive this month. Remember that you are most fertile 24-48 hours BEFORE and up to 24 hours after you ovulate. Sometimes people will have a ton of sex around or on the ovulation day which decreased sperm count and often times is too late to meet the egg before it dies. Good Luck...I hope this helps you.

Your chances are pretty good - in fact, your chances of having a boy are pretty high as well. Having sex 2 days before or day of ovulation increase chance of having a boy - while having sex 3 days or more before ovulation increase chance of having a girl. I just thought I'd throw that in as a bonus.

It only takes one to get pregnant! I conceived (although it ended in m/c) after thinking my chances were shot to heck because we only had intercourse once during my fertile period and that was after ovulation - worse statistically. You fare better when sperm is already there, waiting to fertilize. Good Luck!

It sounds like you have the timing right. You did not mention not using birth control. I hope you have been off the pill for a while and were relaxed.

sperm survive in your vagina for up to 7 days... I say there is a possibility you can be pregnant...
