I have an HP1355 and had the same problem & discovered it was because I had just downloaded IE7. I deleted it and all went back to normal. HP are aware and somewhere on their Web pages is the answer to the problem

Try http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?lc=en&cc=us&lang=en&rule=44952&product=90764&dlc=en&

Hp.com is a good source and you can download the driver if you suspect the disk is not loading correctly.

Suggest you delete the driver first in 'control panel' - 'add/remove programs'.
