Ok, I'm guilty of watching NBC's coverage...and was disgusted with their lame comment on how there was much consideration in deciding on airing the killer's video. My opinion is that it should not have been shown...just what the killer wanted and fuel for possible copycat killers. So what did NBC actually consider? Comments?

I am too, but NBC was the network chosen by Cho for his dvd. They hit the ratings lottery on this one. It should have not been shown I agree.

I feel bad for the guy, he had a really tough time. Too bad he thought that was the solution. I expected this of the media so I wasn't suprised or disgusted. Why be disgusted? it made everyone understand what he was like and cured the curiousity. You watched it because you wanted to know what he was like. Yes, the video and pictures are emotinal, but they help the healing process as well, no reason to whine about it.

Everyone ask Why? Why did he do this? or Why would someone do something like that?

They get the videos of him explaining how he felt and WHY and then people get sick of it...

I live close to VT and i understand where people are coming from on both sides... I mean i think it was a right thing to do because it shows why and shows what people like that think... i dont think they should have played it as much as they did and take the spot light off of the victims and their family.

That is what the killer wanted, but I also think it shows the killers thought process too-regardless how warped and disturbed it is. It may help people try to come to grips with this horrible tragedy-I know I have wondered what could make someone snap and decide to kill.

I'm sure the only thing they "considered" was how many viewers they would get. I agree; I am disgusted with their decision and post-comments as well.
