More than likely you are pricing in the regular section of the website. This is for travel anytime. However, if you want the free dining special, you need to get your quote that way. There is a special code and everything that you need. If you just price it from the main part of the website they don't have the code input so that anyone traveling can get prices.
If you go in under specials, you will be able to find the info and get a price from there. There is no option to take the dining off if you price under the promotion. I've included a link so that you can just click on "get started" on the page and be able to get the prices for your trip.
If you call Disney, they may require you to give the code, which should be ZHW. Most agents don't make you give it to them, but some do, so it is a good idea to have it ready.
Hope this helps!

lol, yeah. disney went crazy and gave away free meal plans last year. it totally screwed all the restaurants over because everyone was trying to make reservations and every place was overbooked. so a lot of people had to eat fast foods around the parks.
the dining plan does cost extra. u can purchase it at the disney resort ur going to be staying in. it will actually save u a lot of money. i believe it's about $35 a day, it includes a snack, a quick service, and a sit-down (which if u pay each separately, it'll probably cost around $40-$50). it's a good deal, just make sure u make reservations for the sit-down restaurants. call (407)WDW-DINE

I'd highly recommend you dedicate a day to the Magic Kingdom without any exceptations seeing it is the biggest with the most to do and I personally find it the funnest. I think EPCOT deserves a whole day as well if you are planning on visiting the countries and the other area. Hollywood Studios can easily be done in half a day and I think Animal Kingdom can too. Or another idea is hang out at the hotel for a while, then maybe do Hollywood Studios in the evening then see Fantasmic. And since Animal Kingdom doesn't have a night show, you can do Downtown Disney that night. Ex: Day 1: Fly down, hotel to unwind, go to HS and maybe do the Fantasmic Dinner Plan Day 2: Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney and have dinner at one of the themed restaurants (I can't wait to go to T-Rex!) Day 3: EPCOT and have dinner in one of the countries. I'm eating at a Hibachi place in "Japan" and the Garden Grill in the other area. Day 4: Magic Kingdom (fireworks and light parade) maybe have dinner at the castle! Or breakfast! I think Fantasmic and the Light Parade are the 2 coolest night events in my opinion. Have a lot of fun and good luck with the rest of your planning!

The dining is dependent on when you are travelling and if you are staying at a Disney resort.
